Zalando looks back on a successful business performance in fiscal year 2017. The group consciously focused on growth opportunities, made key strategic investments, and yet remained clearly profitable in the process. Zalando increased its revenue by 23.4% to EUR 4,489m and won additional market share. The group recorded an EBIT of EUR 187.6m which corresponds to an EBIT margin of 4.2%. We believe investing into growing our market share now is the value maximizing strategy for the company.
